Ford releases ‘Colour Editions’ of Fiesta, Focus and B-Max 0

Ford has announced they’re releasing ‘Colour Editions’ of some of their most popular models. The Fiesta, Focus and B-MAX will all now be available to purchase in personalised colour options.

According to Ford Social the company decided on the sets of colours through surveying male and female drivers about their colour preferences compared to personality traits. If you trust the psychologist’s words, apparently women who opt for a black car are “smart go –getters” and men who choose blue cars are “in touch with their feelings and emotions”. They even have a short quiz to find out what car colour you should choose.

The Fiesta is being offered in the Black and White Colour Editions, featuring contrasting roof and wing mirror colours. Ford is also upping the standard equipment on all the Colour Editions; the Fiesta gets 15-inch alloy wheels with white inserts and a black upholstery interior with white stitching and white door handles. Buyers choose between the three-door and five-door styles and then have two engine options: the 1.25-litre 81bhp engine or the 1.0-litre 99bhp EcoBoost.

The Focus Zetec S comes in the Red and Black Colour Editions, which can be flipped to be either mostly red or mostly black. The opposite colour will contrast with the roof, mirrors and grille for the exterior and the interior features black with red stitching. Again, this model comes with two engine options: the 1.5-litre 180bhp EcoBoost petrol or the 2.0-litre 148bhp TDCi diesel.

Finally, the B-MAX will get the biggest colour collection, with the additions of the Zetec Red Edition, White Edition and Silver Edition. The models feature a black painted front grille, 16-inch black alloy wheels, rear spoiler, rear diffuser and privacy glass. Buyers can choose from the 1.0-litre 138bhp EcoBoost, the 1.4-litre or the 1.6-litre engine range.

You can order the Focus and Fiesta editions now and the B-Max Colour Editions will be ready to order in January 2016. Prices start from £13,645.
