Well there a variety of trims available. Perhaps certain colour schemes and specific packages are targeted at specific countries. Asian countries prefer lighter colours within the interior. European countries prefer a darker colour inside the cabin. Uniquely there is a Ginger colour offered with a pale green reflection which be made available worldwide. This is hoped to attract customers who enjoy taking trips to the great outdoors.
What type of car is the Ford Kuga?
The Ford Kuga is quite a difficult car to class. It is not quite a family saloon yet not quite a fully fledged Sports Utility Vehicle. Many describe it as more of a compact type of SUV. It’s almost like having a space cruiser without the unnecessary bulk. In that sense the car can relate to both the American and the European car market. Around the world many are opting for a car that is more sensible and reliable rather than a gas guzzling coupe, another reason as to why the car will come across as more attractive.

There will be three brand new engines available with the range. The 2.5 Litre four cylinder engine will remain in the array of choices as expected, but with updated technology. There will be two new Ecoboost engines which in effect replace the 1.6 Litre and the 2.0 Litre available with the current models. The V6 option will also be made obsolete.
Ecoboost are engines designed to be more economical, emitting less C02 and saving money on fuel. It works by combining direct injection and turbocharging technology. Ford are said to hold an astonishing 125 patents on the technology.
The engines will be of the size in terms of litres with the 2.0 Litre offering 237 BHP and the 1.6 litre being more economical than the current hybrid version. The new and improved 2.0 engine variant is anticipated to be the most popular of the lot, with the performance being the best of the whole range.
Although the car will be initially manufactured in Europe, it will not be released in the UK. That news shouldn’t come as a surprise, as the car is large and designed for American roads. It is of a similar size the Range Rover Evoque, with 7 seats over three rows. Demand for the Ford Escape in this country as well as many others throughout Europe will be high enough to suffice the release of the vehicle.
The vehicle is known for its towing prowess. It is expected to come with four wheel drive and all-wheel drive capabilities. The six speed automatic transmission will help the car’s green credentials too.
Will scrapping the idea of hybrid technology and converting to Ecoboost engines pay off? The full revamp of engines is considered a risk from the company. There is no variety of engines to choose from, with Ford Fiesta Centura just having a 1.25 petrol installed. The statistics produced by the engine represent a typical Fiesta performance. You’ll get around 82 BHP from it. One reason why the Ford Fiesta sells so well is because of its fuel credentials. The emissions are so low with this car that road tax is free for the first year. Other running costs such as repairs and servicing are also deemed cheap.
The car’s interior will be heavily influenced by the current Zetec model. This is great news for fans who can’t wait for its arrival, as you get power steering and a quality sound system. There will be a great amount of safety equipment within the car, such as airbags throughout.
The car is competitively priced at £13,396, a good deal in our eyes. There will be both a 3 door and a 5 door version of the Ford Fiesta Centura.

The Ford Focus ST is an example of something great for the future from Ford. The new version is said to be released next year. From the concept car which was displayed at the Paris Motor Show, there seems to no changes.
For the first time there will be an estate version available, something which has never previously been released for the Focus ST model. The prospect was described as irresistible from the company. This would mix everything what is great with the original Focus into the ST version, making it practical and sporty. There will be however no 3 door version of the car.
The same development team who worked on the Ford Focus RS is set to work on the ST.
Power and Performance
The whole point of the ST is to add more power compared to the average Ford Focus. You’ll get a 4 cylinder turbocharged 2.0L which is a change from the previous Ford Focus ST which was a five cylinder 2.5 Litre engine. It will be able to produce 247bhp and have an output of 265lb ft of torque. The Recaro front seats will help the drivers sync in to the speed when they accelerate.
Look
Another emphasis on the new Ford Focus ST model is to give a sportier and more aggressive look to the car. There is an eye-catching front grille with a stylish body kit that includes some spectacular side skirts. The 18inch alloys give away the look of sportiness with the tyres around them being designed for style and optimising performance. Compared to the normal Ford Focus, this one will be 10mm lower, adding to the car’s performance and look too.

What is most outstanding is perhaps the way the doors open, some may mistake it for something out of Transformers. The car is said to be as long as the Ford Focus and as wide as the Ford Mondeo. This is an interesting choice of design which may make the car more flexible.

This piece of technology will hold data on cloud servers and appears to be very personal to the drive, which Ford has said will be implemented within their future cars.

Is the body shell too aggressive? Does it look slightly odd? We will have to wait and see how much influence the Evos will really have.
A new Ford Focus RS will be available in the future with tremendous improvements . This has been revealed by Gunnar Herrmann, who is in charge of producing small cars for Ford that a new generation will indeed be made.
The most exciting development is the boost in power, with the car being the most powerful version ever built. The turbocharged EcoBoost 2.0 engine is said to have the capability of developing 380bhp. That figure easily beats the 301 bhp developed from the 2.5 litre turbo and the special edition Focus RS500. The car is likely to reach 0-60mph in just 5.5 seconds. That would be quicker than the recorded time for the RS500 too.
However the car is a long off release, perhaps another two years. According to rumours, a three door hatchback is unlikely. However a two-door coupe hasn’t been ruled out.
The car will still be a front wheel drive it has been mentioned. Gunnar Herrmann is quoted as saying “I think we stay with our two-wheel-drive which I think was well executed”. It would seem that a rear wheel drive car would be literally impossible to contemplate, as it would completely change the dynamics of the vehicle. There have been rumours that the car will be hybrid too. Again that would be seemingly impossible.
The car when released could possibly be made available globally, including in North America not just in European countries. However its target markets have not been confirmed. North America has certainly got a demand for the Ford Focus RS, as it has previously not been made available there. It is one of the best and most powerful Ford cars available, with fans over in America keen for the new RS to be sold there too. Ford will be making a huge statement if the car was released in the USA. It would appear that Ford have confidence that the car would be a global success.
New suspension will be implemented within the car to help optimise its performance and handle the immense power. Effectively the new suspension, which will be of Ford’s RevoKnuckle design, will produce less torque steer.
However although it has been anticipated that the Focus RS as a matter of fact be 2 years away from being released, the ST version of the Focus and the Fiesta is due to be displayed the Frankfurt motor show later this year.
